Dr. Aggarwal is committed to providing the best possible care for cancer patients in this community - providing for patients' emotional support needs as well as their medical needs. "As a radiation oncologist and the medical director of a cancer center, I do more than just provide radiation therapy," explains Dr. Aggarwal. "My ultimate goal is to educate each patient to help him or her understand the disease, the diagnosis, and the next steps." By listening to each patient and providing as much information as possible – including all treatment options – Dr. Aggarwal strives to help each patient make an informed decision about his or her own care and be comfortable with the treatment process.
Dr. Aggarwal completed his undergraduate work at the University of Virginia with a B.A. in chemistry. He earned his M.D. at the Medical College of Virginia, where he was also awarded the prestigious Kinloch Nelson Scholarship for academic achievement and service.
