As the patient navigator at The Cancer Center, Jackie assists patients in getting the information and support they need.
“Once a patient receives their diagnosis and recommended treatment, there is a wealth of information available to them and their family,” says Jackie. “Whether it’s directing a newly diagnosed patient to an appropriate support group or providing resources for financial assistance, insurance questions, or other concerns, I’m here to assist patients and their families in breaking down barriers that could otherwise delay treatment.”
Jackie holds a bachelor’s degree in business economics from Oneonta State University and an associate’s degree in business administration from State University of New York at Cobleskill. She has more than 20 years experience in administration, training and community outreach.
Jackie resides in Gainesville with her husband and two children, and is an active member of her church, volunteers at SERVE (Securing Emergency Resources through Volunteer Efforts) in Manassas, and supports missions in both Haiti and Guatemala.
