Letter from the Medical Director

Welcome to The Cancer Center at Lake Manassas. We are dedicated to bringing the highest-quality cancer care to the northern Virginia area. As a radiation oncologist, it’s been my intention to treat each and every patient with the highest level of care and professionalism. Serving the community through this new center has truly been a pleasure and a privilege.

In this inaugural issue of Cancer Resource, I’m pleased to highlight The Cancer Center’s innovative treatment plans for patients in need of radiation. In addition, you can read about the relocation of the Fairfax–Northern Virginia Hematology and Oncology group to their new site within The Cancer Center’s building. A new diagnostic procedure known as PET/CT imaging is also explained.
