Letter from the Medical Director

When you’ve been diagnosed with cancer, you have a lot of questions: What are my options? What should I do next? Where can I find reliable information? Who is going to care for me? In short, what’s going to happen to me now?

As a radiation oncologist and the medical director of a cancer center, I do more than provide radiation therapy. My ultimate goal is to help each patient understand the disease, the diagnosis, and the next steps. By listening to questions and concerns and providing as much information as possible—including all treatment options—I strive to help each person make an informed decision about his or her own care and be comfortable with the treatment process.

If you’ve been diagnosed with cancer and are deciding what to do next, call me for a consultation. I will meet with you, summarize your case, and review your options so you can understand the best treatment for you.

Regardless of where you are with your diagnosis or treatment, I will work closely with your other oncology doctors, surgeons, and personal physician to make sure you receive the best care possible.

Best Wishes,
Sanjeev K. Aggarwal, M.D.
Medical Director, The Cancer Center at Lake Manassas
